Unleashing a heart of gold

ABOUT US

History

Woop is an acronym for Widows, Orphans, Oppressed and the Poor.
This foundation was laid on the founder's heart 15years ago due to her sympathetic and loving nature to constantly put the needs of others above hers. She had always desired and had a passionate quest to enhance the socio-economic status of the underprivileged since her childhood and that motivated her to initiate this foundation.
She has always believed that a kind gesture and having compassion goes a long way in healing the wounded and broken-hearted and this philosophy of hers has led her to adopt holistic and participatory approach in reaching out even beyond her reach to street children, orphans, homeless, widows, the poor and the oppressed.
Setting up the foundation first made her scared and anxious because she saw it to be a huge task beyond her control since she was only considering her abilities and capabilities but on a second thought she reckoned that "One can kill a thousand but two can kill ten thousand" and this gave her the motivation she needed to take heed to her vision and share it with others in order to bring it into fruition believing that nothing is impossible when people come together with oneness of heart and mind in achieving a common goal.

Knowing that there is nothing more beautiful than people who go out of their way to make life beautiful for others she decided to solidarize to unveil this great project to make the world a better place in her own small but special way.
